Asbestos byl prakticky inertní materiál....!
Ale muslimte drceného pěnového skla je fajn, hlavni pro kontakt zemi

Vic o mineralni vlna:

The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC) has classified ceramic fiber, fibrous glasswool and mineral wool (rockwool & slagwool) as possible human carcinogens (Group 2b) based on sufficient evidence of carcinogenicity in animals, but insufficient data in humans.
The Commission of The European Communities (DG XI) has classified mineral wool among substances which should be regarded as if they are harmful to man.
The American Conference of Governmental Industrial Hygienists (ACGIH) has categorized rock wool and slag wool as animal carcinogens (A3).

Co ja vim je hlavni negativni vyzkum jenom existuje z dansko jazyko. Tam je dost positivni testi, ale platit z Rockwool
Tady je muj nazev od Kveten do klient; otazka byl od nova LCA reklama od Rockwool:

It's a great example of what to me constitutes the hoax about LCA.

Mikkel, my ex-professor of LCA knows the team behind the Rockwool LCA, and supplied me with it (Don't know where I put it!). You only have to read through the first couple of pages to know that it's completely flawed. I only read it for 30 minutes..
They compare Rockwool to hemp and flax insulation, but according to very specific Danish Rockwool parameters, among other they claim that a very high (95%?) percent of the old rockwool is gathered for recycling (Perhaps true in DK, but I doubt it's true in most countries.)

It is my view that LCA is invented/promoted by the industry to hide facts from critiques, as it's a very expensive process to produce a LCA, hence also to counter prove the concluding statements which is used for marketing/green wash.  It is based on a process of limitation of data, as there's only so many available in the database.  It is also based on some potentially manipulating scenarios for end of life use, such as in this case the ability to be reused in road production (mixed with asphalt)...surprisingly Rockwool came out very good for this purpose, and as they compared it with the use of competing products such as hemp or flax insulation, they concluded that Rockwool was far superior  (...now, how about comparing using the used fibre for knitting sweaters, how would that work for Rockwool???)

I'm aware much have changed since the Danish union of Insulators came up with their report which showed that people working with Rockwool had 100% higher mortality rates than their comparison group of Copenhagen bus drivers; Modern Rockwoll has more closed fibres, and likely factories are improved (at least in DK). For sure the DK workers are much better educated and wearing protective gear, but how about the Czech workers? The Romanians...etc? And do they have factories in all countries? It's very bulky, and if the LCA only calculates transport within a Danish geography, the transport is minimal.
I searched a couple of years ago, and all other available Rockwool research had been funded by...Rockwool! (including the one by FORCE Technology). Hardly makes it an independent study.
