Please everyone,
I simply have to ask you not to believe a word of what is written on behalf
of Ekodum.
A) There has not been any accept by the ESBG team for such a meeting; and
certainly not of the invitation which was sent out publicly 25 minutes after
is was sent to us.
B) To the contrary you all received the mail where Ales Brotanek was made
very well aware that he had 'misunderstood' the situation.
C) Same mail clarified that our original mail was addressed to some of you
whom are very involved in SB building, and simply out of respect and to avoid
having too large a CZ delegation. It was a request with a deadline which
twice was ignored by Ales Brotanek, Jan Marton and a few others.
D) It was likewise made clear that some of you had chosen not to join the
ESBG, and others of you made it clear you would not be at the meeting; even
so then your name is being used to create a misconception in the Ekodum
invitation.
E) The last mail from Jan Marton includes another 'misunderstanding' (that's
very positively viewed; more real name is 'manipulation'), that David Eyer is
the National coordinator for CZ? It is a surprise to all of us, and I believe
to David too? Here's his own words:
01-10-2011
Hi Max,
it is very difficult for me to tell you that I definitely decided not join
preparation team for ESBG. I know that I am not able to manage it because of
my timeschedule.
I hope you will understand it and that there is still enough time to find
someone else.
I really apologize,
David
+He would have a hard time coordinating as he wasn't at our recent meeting,
and not actively involved. As Tomas wrote; he's one of the '2 nice and pretty
people with the microphone'.
F) Ekodum chose not to reply when they were approached for cooperation back
in October. Now they send out an unapproved invitation, to a group of people
who can only be reached through Ales/Jan/Michal. (It's not a peer-to-peer
e-list, it's made as a hierarchal top down information channel for a secret
group of people. Noticable they have not yet forwarded the public invitation
to ESBG to the same list or to the public ekodum e-list. Seems to me it's
more a question of control and secrecy than trying to help?
Cooperation is based on trust. I find very clearly that this approach by
Ales/Jan gives zero occasion to have any trust in them, nor in the empty
shell of an organization they claim to represent. This is not about not
wanting inclusion in the ESBG. We operate in a very inclusive manner. This is
about a simple level of decency completely and utterly lacking in the actions
by Ales Brotanek.
I strongly suggest that the board of Ekodum chooses this wonderful
opportunity to publicly announce that they step down as board members, and
recommend a transparent and participatory organizational structure get
established instead.
Please leave us in the ESBG team to arrange our own public participatory
meetings; We don't need lies and manipulations to promote the ESBG.
Zdravim,
Max
PS; Next time you get invited to go to a party, ask yourself: "Would the host
think it's cool if I invite my entire Facebook network to go too, and make it look as
it's my party?"
