I contacted a responsible person from the Geodetic and Cartographic

Institute in Slovakia and he sent me much better paramaters that are

appropriate for GRASS (or generally for any GIS). It might be

interesting that the same incorrect parameters uses also ArcGIS.



So now it is again possible to provide a single item for Slovakia in

hermannskogel menu with these parameters. They just wanted to mention

that the parameters came from the institute (this is in fact very

useful, because then everyone knows the source).

Thanks to Dr. Klobusiak from the national Geodetic and Cartographic

Institute Bratislava, we've got the following correct parameters for

Slovakia:



datumparams: towgs84=485.021,169.465,483.839,7.786342,4.397554,4.102655,0



These parameters are recommended by this Institute. If possible please

include the following note in the appropriate source code line:

"These parameters for Slovak S-JTSK coordinate system were recommended

by the Geodetic and Cartographic Institute Bratislava in 19/12/2006,

http://www.gku.sk";

The parameter errors reported by P. Paudits are between 0.48 to 2.11 m

(average 1.21 m). In case of JTSK/03 the errors should be within few cm

or dm.
