Dear Martin, Daniel and others...

Daniel is partly right as the Czech half of the translation still 
haven't been synchronized and proof read (But the Slovak half is 
finished). However the real delay has been -and continue to be- caused 
by Tom Rijven, who is travelling in Australia and not replying his 
mails!  We need his replies in concern to publishing details and 
contract. (...Perhaps a crocodile got him?)

Those of you interested in reserving a copy of the book: Please send me 
a mail titled 'Tom Rijven', and I'll let you know when it is ready. We 
believe the price will be about 750 kc. The book will be in A4 format, 
about 160 pages, in color and in both Slovak/Czech as well as in 
English. We plan that it will be for sale on the PermaLot website as 
well as in various book shops. It would be good to know how many of you 
are interested...

As some of you may know, Tom advocates a new way of building with straw 
bales, where you cut the strings of the bales, after you have placed 
them. This means the straw fill any crack, and his technique still keep 
the walls firm. The book also details the 'French Dip' and the use of 
fermenting in plasters...as well as describes how to give good massages 
and energy at building sites :-)
